After morning scholastics, Saddlebrook Prep golf students typically hit the practice range for individualized instruction. By mid-afternoon, they play the courses with their coaches, working on strategy and technique. On weekends, our golf students may play Saddlebrook’s courses or make use of our practice facilities.

Seasoned, certified coaches, marvelous golf courses and extensive practice opportunities are not the only resources for our students. The Academy also features computerized, slow-motion videotaping, cross-training, stamina conditioning, injury-preventing flexibility training and strength building programs. Tournaments are emphasized, with students competing both individually and as a team in local and national events and in intramural competition at Saddlebrook and other fine courses in the Tampa Bay area. Past students have included members of the Rolex All-American, Junior Ryder Cup teams and NCAA All-American Teams.

Our formula for training tomorrow’s champions is based on teaching basic fundamentals, promoting a winning attitude and instilling respect for the game. Our instructors give young golfers a well-rounded learning experience including excellent conditioning, a solid work ethic, practice organization and physical training. A maximum 5 students to 1professional ratio guarantees that every student receives ample individual attention. Professionals also work with our young athletes to organize the best local and national tournament schedules.
