For over 25 years, The mission of Pat Etcheberry has been to systematically identify the factors that enhance and sustain high strength and fitness performance with competitive athletes, and to develop highly specific techniques to train these qualities.

Pat Etcheberry’s client list represents an extraordinary cross section of top athletes including David Duval, Ernie Els, Nick Faldo, David Leadbetter and Helen Alfredsson in golf; Pete Sampras, Jim Courier, Jennifer Capriati and Monica Seles in tennis.

Strength and Conditioning, Endurance, Flexibility, Diet and Sleep Habits will receive a comprehensive evaluation based on an array of tests to identify an individual’s strengths and weaknesses, along with recommendations for specific training to enhance performance. Focused training to elevate a player to a performance-ready fitness level, addressing both total body conditioning to prevent injury and prepare for maximum performance in competition.

The Saddlebrook Prep fitness component is made up of certified trainers hand-picked by Pat Etcheberry and focuses on the athletic development of each individual student. Pre-semester evaluation is followed by periodization training to meet the student needs. Post evaluation testing is performed at the end of the semester to gauge the student’s progress.

The training focuses on key components of each individual sport, including:

  • Flexibility - pre and post performance
  • Strength
  • Body Composition
  • Nutrition
  • Lifestyle habits

The training program addresses complete body conditioning in order to increase performance and reduce injury.
