Improve Your Game at Our Golf Training Center

The 20-acre, newly-expanding Saddlebrook Golf Training Center is now open for play at our Tampa golf resort. It encompasses playing practice of every element of the game. Resort guests, resort visitors, club members, students of all ages and ability levels with our BannLynch Certified Instructors, and touring professionals find challenging and valuable golf play in this multi-faceted training area. Golfers may enjoy lessons or may choose to score themselves and rotate through the many practice sites and stations which simulate golf course play.

The East Tee, covering over 30,000 square feet, provides popular practice opportunities. Soon to be completed are two indoor golf studio hitting bays, where golfers can hit over 300 yards, offering the most advanced digital video swing analysis software technology. Multiple hitting stations on a driving range area also allow for hitting over 300 yards. The East Tee features a large fairway bunker. On specially designed mounds, players practice every type of uphill and downhill shot. Practice areas are set up to hit golf shots to multiple target greens. The Arnold Palmer designed Scoring Zone, a 10,000 square foot green with a bunker and multiple chipping areas, offers practice of each area of the short game.

The Lesson Tee, which is 12,000 square feet in size, is designed for group or private lessons to practice golf shots to multiple target greens to improve each player's complete game. A 14,000 square foot Tif-Eagle putting green is exclusively available to practice the putting game. Included in this training area is the 5,000 square foot Wedge Green, with multiple levels and two green-side bunkers which were designed by touring professional and golf great K. J. Choi. The Wedge Green was created to practice shots from all types of lies from 100 to 20 yards in. The Lesson Tee area includes the 7,000 square foot Chipping Green with Mini-Verde ultra-dwarf Bermuda grass, with multiple mounding and two green-side bunkers also designed by K. J. Choi. It enables practice of every shot in the short game, from bunker shots and chipping to putting, and from every angle and lie 360˚ around the green.

The West Tee covers one acre including multiple hitting stations to multiple target greens with fairway bunkers, providing practice of your game hitting up to 300 yards. Featured on the West Tee is a red clay teaching area, with another soon to be completed on the opposite end of the tee. Found nowhere else in the world, the red clay stations were designed by K. J. Choi for use in his training regime to perfect ball contact and golf swing.

Majestic tall palms beautifully landscape and line the Saddlebrook Golf Training Center, providing shade between golf practice play sessions and areas. A state-of-the-art golf-specific fitness training center, custom club fitting and repair center, and club storage will complement the complex. Soon to be added is the newly designed Golf Clubhouse with locker rooms and a patio for enjoying snacks and refreshments.
