Dick Boehning - Corporate Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Dick oversees all sales, marketing and advertising efforts and staff. Dick has many years of experience both at Doral Golf Resort & Spa where he was vice president of sales and then general manager over a 24 year span. He came to Saddlebrook over 20 years ago as executive vice president and general manager and recently undertook responsibility for resort wide marketing.

S. Mark Marker, CHME, CMP - Vice President Sales
Saddlebrook's VP of sales for the past 20 years, Mark's background gives him the experience to both lead and work with the sales team at the resort. Before coming to Saddlebrook, Mark worked at Doral Golf Resort & Spa in human resources, convention services and director of sales.

Kristen Boehning - Director of Southeast/Western Region Sales
Started working at Saddlebrook in 1999, as executive group sales director, then as sales director for the Midwest and currently handles all group sales in the Southeast and Mid-America states. Kristen came to Saddlebrook from the Registry Resort in Naples where she was the director of yield management/revenue and before that worked for 7 years with Hyatt Hotels in reservations and front desk management positions.

Ed Danon - Director of Mid Atlantic Sales
Ed’s been at Saddlebrook for 22 years and during that time, his sales efforts have been in the association marketplace in and around the Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland. He’s also responsible for seeking business for Saddlebrook throughout Canada. Ed has been in the lodging industry for 50 years and prior to coming to Saddlebrook, was at Innisbrook Resort and Doral Golf Resort & Spa.

Sean Dempsey - Director of Midwest Sales
Sean has been at Saddlebrook since July of 2000. During his time at the resort, Sean has worked in the rooms division as well as F&B. He’s also worked in other operating departments including a stint as construction manager. He comes to sales directly from his work as a catering & conference services manager.

Cheryl Jelinek - Director of Florida Sales
Working in a single department in one hotel all of your adult life is easy for Cheryl to proclaim but it makes it difficult to write a colorful bio. Cheryl has indeed only worked in the sales department over the past 21 years, first as an assistant, then as executive group sales director and, for the past 8 years, covering Florida’s corporate and association markets.

Dean Smith - Director of Northeast Sales
Although Dean has been a member of the sales team for one year, he brings years of experience to the resort. Before enjoying the luxurious Florida sunshine, Dean worked at the Cranwell Resort, Spa & Golf Club in Lenox, Mass. His experience is both in F&B, catering conference services and group sales. He’s been in the lodging and food industries for over 30 years.

Susan Trembal - Director of Northeast Sales
Susan Trembal handles sales in the Northeast. Susan worked at Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club, starting out in 1978 in the reservations department. Susan also worked the front desk, conference services and was a senior sales manager before coming to Saddlebrook in 1998.

Tom Wilkie - Director of Executive Group Sales
At Saddlebrook 18 years, Tom has worked as director of Midwest sales, director of sales research and leisure travel director. Prior to his lengthy sales career at the resort, Tom worked at the Abbey Group of Resorts & Hotels, Playboy Resorts & Hotels and the Drake Hotel in Chicago.

Johnnie Giffin - Leisure Travel Director
Another one of our sales team who’s worked at only two properties over her last 29 years in the industry. Johnnie worked for 10 years at the DonCeSar Beach Resort, as Front Office Manager, Night Audit Reservations Manager and Travel Industry Salesperson. For the last 19 years, she’s headed our leisure sales efforts, working with golf, tennis and social groups, family reunions, customer and vendor appreciation events.

Yvonne Bohannon - Director of Group Activities & Spa Sales
Yvonne has worked in the hospitality industry for 20 years and comes to us from Busch Gardens. At Busch Gardens, Yvonne has held a number of different positions for the past ten years, all in the marketing and sales arena. She’s handled both social and corporate markets and has also been involved in the consumer events side of the business. Yvonne is the person to contact for any of your activities beyond the meeting room.

Kristen Kachurak, CMP - Director of Catering/Conference Services
Heading our Catering/Conference Service team, Kristen started at Saddlebrook as a Catering Manager in 1999. Prior to Saddlebrook, Kristen’s career experience was gained with Dolce International Hotels including stints at the Front Desk and Conference Planning.

Doug Pollard - Associate Director of Catering/Conference Services
Doug started as a catering manager at Saddlebrook in 1991 and, when the catering and conference services departments were joined in 2002, Doug was named the associate director. Doug comes from the Boston metropolitan area, where he joined Sheraton Hotels, working in both Massachusetts and Newport, Rhode Island, for over 13 years.

Eva Colon - Catering/Conference Services Manager
A Tampa, Florida native, Eva worked at the Georgia Dome during the 1996 Olympic Games. She came back to Florida and worked for the Embassy Suites group in Orlando as assistant banquet manager. In 1998 she opened the Embassy Suites Tampa, working as catering manager and then director of convention services. She then worked in various catering management positions in the Hilton family of hotels.

Nicole Briggs - Social Catering Manager
Nicole came to Saddlebrook in 1996 as an intern in the guest activities department, after completing a semester in Walt Disney World’s College Program. After the internship, Nicole stayed at Saddlebrook as assistant director of guest activities, moving to the conference services department in 1999. Nicole handles all social catering functions and is the wedding coordinator for the resort.

Lisa Rewasiewicz - Executive Services Manager
A graduate of the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management, Lisa worked with Darden Restaurants before joining the Saddlebrook family in the sales department. As an Executive Services Manager, Lisa will take care of all groups with less than 50 attendees.

John Spitz - Concierge & Floor Manager for Convention Groups
With 36 years of experience in conference services, John provides fast, efficient service to the meeting planner while the meeting is going on. At Saddlebrook since 1984, John also worked at Innisbrook and Doral Golf Resort & Spa prior to coming with us – always in convention/conference services.
