Kristen Kachurak, CMP - Director of Catering/Conference Services
Heading our Catering/Conference Service team, Kristen started at Saddlebrook as a Catering Manager in 1999. Prior to Saddlebrook, Kristen’s career experience was gained with Dolce International Hotels including stints at the Front Desk and Conference Planning.

Doug Pollard - Associate Director of Catering/Conference Services
Doug started as a catering manager at Saddlebrook in 1991 and, when the catering and conference services departments were joined in 2002, Doug was named the associate director. Doug comes from the Boston metropolitan area, where he joined Sheraton Hotels, working in both Massachusetts and Newport, Rhode Island, for over 13 years.

Eva Colon - Catering/Conference Services Manager
A Tampa, Florida native, Eva worked at the Georgia Dome during the 1996 Olympic Games. She came back to Florida and worked for the Embassy Suites group in Orlando as assistant banquet manager. In 1998 she opened the Embassy Suites Tampa, working as catering manager and then director of convention services. She then worked in various catering management positions in the Hilton family of hotels.

Nicole Briggs - Social Catering Manager
Nicole came to Saddlebrook in 1996 as an intern in the guest activities department, after completing a semester in Walt Disney World’s College Program. After the internship, Nicole stayed at Saddlebrook as assistant director of guest activities, moving to the conference services department in 1999. Nicole handles all social catering functions and is the wedding coordinator for the resort.

Lisa Rewasiewicz - Executive Services Manager
A graduate of the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management, Lisa worked with Darden Restaurants before joining the Saddlebrook family in the sales department. As an Executive Services Manager, Lisa will take care of all groups with less than 50 attendees.

John Spitz - Concierge & Floor Manager for Convention Groups
With 36 years of experience in conference services, John provides fast, efficient service to the meeting planner while the meeting is going on. At Saddlebrook since 1984, John also worked at Innisbrook and Doral Golf Resort & Spa prior to coming with us – always in convention/conference services. |
