College Recruitment & Scholarships



Junior golfers coming to Saddlebrook Prep have dreams and goals that range from wining a state championship to receiving a Division I college scholarship. It is our job to provide student-athletes with an opportunity and environment conducive to achieving these goals.

The recruitment process and qualifications for golfers are unlike other sports where athletes are judged almost solely on athletic ability and achievement. Coaches are looking for academic excellence as well as athletic performance. SAT scores can be just as important as a FCWT ranking to may coaches making their final decisions.

Coaches from top Division I schools utilize Saddlebrook as a resource in their recruitment efforts. Coaches are attracted to Prep players because they know these players have made an extreme commitment to both their sport and their education. Each year Saddlebrook Prep students are recruited to some of the finest academic and athletic institutions in the country on both academic and athletic scholarships.
