As a freshman (fall 2007) Earned three top-30 finishes with averaging a 76.86 in the fall ... Made her debut as a Jayhawk at Nebraska's Chip-N-Club Invitational, where she placed 29th after shooting a 234 ... Fired a third-rounds score of 73 to finish in a tie for 36th place with a score of 234 at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate ... Carded consecutive rounds of 74 and 75 for a 149 total at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational, good enough to tie in seventh place ... Finished in a tie for 23rd place with a score of 229 at Price's "Give 'Em Five" Intercollegiate ... Concluded the fall season by firing a one-over-par 72 in the third round at the UA-Ann Rhoads Intercollegiate to launch her into a tie for 54th place.

Saddlebrook Prep - Class 2007
A young talent who saw limited tournament time as a freshman, but will look to make an impact in the Tars top-five as a sophomore. Attended Saddlebrook Academy, also the alma mater of former Tars All-American and National Champion Mariana De Biase.
2007-08: Saw action in six tournaments for the Tars, playing 16 rounds and posting a 79.56 stroke average. Finished a season’s best T13 at the Yale Women’s Intercollegiate. Shot a low round of 77 in the second round of the Ross Resorts Invitational-Mid Pines. Turned in best tournament score of 232 at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational and finished T19. Named NGCA Academic All-America.
High School: Earned 2007 high school Player of the Year honors at Saddlebrook. Led her high school team to state runner-up finishes in 2006 and 2007 – team finished runner-up in 2005 state championship. Also an excellent student, earned Algebra and Economic honors. Member of the National Honor Society. |

As a Freshman in 2007-08: Played in two tournaments ... logged five rounds and finished the fall season with a stroke average of 70.8 ... finished 20th at the Agua-Caliente Air Force Academy Collegiate Invitational and broke par in all three rounds ... shot his low round of 67 at the Agua-Caliente, and his 54-hole total of 206 was fifth best in school history.
Before Hartford: The top-ranked junior from the state of Vermont and the second-ranked junior golfer in New England at the time of his signing ... spent his senior year at Saddlebrook Prep in Tampa, FL and had an under par scoring average during the year while competing on the FCWT, IJGT and Florida Junior Tours ... in 10 events on the IJGT and FCWT tours, finished outside of the top 10 only three times, logged three top-three finishes and won one event ... prior to his time at Saddlebrook, he was a four-year letterwinner in hockey and golf at Woodstock Union High School ... had a stroke average of 74 throughout high school ... was the first alternate at the 2007 U.S. Amateur ... finished fifth at the Vermont Amateur in 2006 and 2007.

NORTH FALMOUTH, MA – The University of Hartford men’s golf team finished as runner-up at the 2008 America Sky Championship and 16th at the Hawks Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at Ballymeade Country Club.
Sophomore Brian Albertazzi captured individual medalist honors for the America Sky Championship and was one of seven golfers to earn all-conference recognition. He also tied for third overall for the Hawks Invitational, as the two events were run concurrently. Albertazzi shot 69 in the final round to hold off DeBorba by a shot. He carded five birdies and two bogeys in his round to become the first Hartford golfer to earn medalist honors at the America Sky Championship in the conference’s short history.
