GOLF TOURNAMENTS
The tours Saddlebrook Prep students participate in are: The Future Collegians World Tour (FCWT) and the International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT). Both of these tours attract excellent competitors and are played on some of the best golf courses in the state of Florida.
BOYS & GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL GOLF TEAMS: Being a part of the boys or girls high school golf team creates a sense of teamwork, teaches leadership and sportsmanship. High School golf begins when school starts in August and ends in October. Districts and Regional’s have been attended by both the boys and girls teams every year. The state championship was won by the boys’ team in 2002 & 2003 and the girls’ team in 1999.
Congratulations to Arthur Edelman for 1st place and Elliot Azoulay for 2nd place at the FCWT Tournament at TPC September 26 & 27, 2009.
Dr. Dewan works with world-class golfers from more than 20 countries at Saddlebrook Resort, where he serves as the mental skills coach for the Arnold Palmer Golf Academy.
