Dinner with The Chef
Designed for intimate dinners with 12 to 16 people, guests enjoy a one-on-one cooking and tasting experience with our Executive Chef. Attendees are met by the maître d'hôtel and introduced to the chef and servers at our Show Kitchen, followed by cocktails and "small forks" as they watch the chef prepare the evening's meal. Throughout the dinner, the chef and maître d interact with the guests explaining the different ingredients and preparation techniques. The evening ends with delectable samplings from our Pastry Shop.
This exquisite dinner with a wine expert is held in The Boudreaux room, and limited to no more than 38 guests. The experience consists of a six to seven course dinner with the group helping choose the menu theme, which ranges from American to French Cuisine. Once the menu has been selected it will then be sampled by our sommelier to taste and pair with the selected wines from our 525-bottle cellar - a true experience for the senses.
Traditionally smoked brisket, baby back ribs, chicken breasts, shrimp and sausage, is slowly cooked/smoked during the day, while meetings are in progress. Once meetings are over, the smoker is moved to the pre-selected function space, where attendees can enjoy a true Southern feast.
Dinner On The Round
Far from your typical "Lazy Susan" dinner, our Dinner On The Round encourages a high level of interaction among attendees sitting at one of our round tables, where a 36-inch Lazy Susan holds their meal. Platters and bowls of specially selected foods offer an enticing assortment of flavors, and attendees appreciate never having to stand at a buffet line. Salads are on the table and dessert for all is brought out once everyone has finished enjoying all the different dishes "On The Round."
Reception and/or Dinner On The 18th Fairway
The 18th fairway of the Saddlebrook Course offers a unique and memorable location for your group's reception and/or banquet dinner. The fairway is set-up with the appropriate tables and chairs, and decorated as you desire. Bars are set up for cocktails and grills are fired up to cook the entrees, while the side dishes are displayed on large tables. This is truly something to be experienced.
The Deli Experience
We take the typical New York Deli and customize it for your group from the name of the Deli itself to the names of the sandwiches we serve. Attendees enter a room and find lines which lead them to a deli counter, where signs suspended from the ceiling list the menu options. Sandwiches are made to order, with a "Kosher Dill" garnish of course. Once guests have ordered and departed the line, they can pick-up their beverage from the stand-alone beverage cooler.
Great for an interactive fun team building event, your group will be separated into teams with each one having their own station. A variety of cupcake-making ingredients are placed in the center of the room with no recipes given. Each group competes creating their own cupcakes in our Cupcake Making Machines. Once done, the cupcakes become the food for the break and groups can be judged on taste, originality and creativity. Lasts approximately one hour.
Ballotine! Julienne! Anglaise! These are some of the culinary terms your group will learn while they participate in one of our interactive cooking programs. Attendees are split into teams so that each may prepare a different course of a meal which will be enjoyed by the entire group. That's right, your own meeting attendees will cut, separate, mix and cook an entire meal alongside our culinary staff, learning as they go along.
If you don't want to leave dinner to your meeting attendees, our culinary staff will prepare a multi-course progressive dinner where each course is served at a different location. At Saddlebrook, the progressive dinner can take place on one of our championship golf courses, and guided by your own dinner concierge. You move from hole to hole via golf carts, starting with cocktails and ending up at our Dempsey's Patio or The Commons for dessert.
Saddlebrook's Sports Village overlooks our golf course and lake, and is the perfect venue for theme parties and group recreation followed by a catered lunch or dinner. Choose from a variety of activities including basketball, volleyball, bocce ball, horseshoes, softball, Wacky Olympics, and more, while our culinary staff prepares a celebratory banquet or a tailgate party.
Grapes to Grain - Wine & Beer Pairing with Food Stations
A variety of dinner stations, ideally 6 or 7, are set up and each food station is professionally paired with a Grain "Beer" and a Grape "Wine." The wine and beer connoisseurs love it, as do the novices who actually get a brief education of wine and beer and the pairings with different foods. Great way again for the attendees of the group to network, brings out different and unusual conversations. Wonderful for a welcome reception or dinner at any location at the resort.
Saddlebrook's very own wine expert explains where certain wines originate and the subtle difference between them. Learn the correct form and various steps of wine tasting. The experience is complemented by a gourmet variety of cheeses. Your attendees will leave with warm memories and useful information.
