The Saddlebrook Sports Performance program at Saddlebrook Resort has garnered nation-wide acclaim for its personalized nutrition and general fitness training programs for professional athletes. Upon arrival to our training facility, every athlete is assessed to determine his or her particular competencies and target areas for improvement. Our staff then customizes a meal plan, which is prepared by Saddlebrook's award-winning culinary team led by Executive Chef Daniel Desmond. The staff creates an individualized strength, speed, conditioning, agility, and flexibility program to address the target improvements for each athlete. Strenuous exercise and efforts take place every day on our FieldTurf and natural turf sports fields and in the Performance Center in our Sports Village.

Led by Chris May, Director of Sports Performance, we work with both professional and college athletes who play baseball, football, tennis, golf, hockey, and other sports.
Guests of the resort are encouraged to take advantage of our renowned sports training facilities and can make reservations for individual and group programs.
