Our renowned Tampa tennis academy attracts enthusiasts from around the globe and is home to 43 courts, including all four Grand Slam surfaces. We cater both to the true tennis fanatic who chooses to participate in our demanding five-hour-a-day program as well as resort guests and meeting attendees who are simply in search of a few sets of competitive play or a quick lesson.
The Tampa Tennis Academy was acquired from the legendary Harry Hopman in 1986 and became the foundation of the Saddlebrook tennis program. The same philosophy and focus on fitness that made Hopman one of the most successful tennis coaches in history still drives our daily clinics. Top ATP and WTA players have trained at Saddlebrook, including Jim Courier, Pete Sampras, Martina Hingis, Andy Roddick, Alex Zverev and John Isner.
Our state-of-the-art tennis program offers 41 tennis courts with all four Grand Slam surfaces, knowledgeable and experienced coaching staff, top-ranked pros training on the same property as guests, an elite fitness center, a performance training facility and a tennis pro shop.
Aspiring tennis players can attend one of the top tennis academies in Florida, and one of the country’s best programs, right at Saddlebrook Resort. Our program has trained premier tennis athletes like Alex Zverev, John Isner and Martina Hingis. Juniors train up to five hours daily in our award-winning tennis facility, in addition to making new friends and enjoying fun social activities with other juniors.
