The Saddlebrook Sports Performance program has garnered nation-wide acclaim for its personalized nutrition and general fitness training programs for professional, aspiring and collegiate athletes, setting us apart from other Tampa resort hotels. Led by Chris May, Director of Sports Performance, we work with athletes who play baseball, football, tennis, golf, hockey and other sports.

Adult Performance Camp

Enhance your strength and conditioning with personalized training.

Summer Training Programs

Whether your child is just getting started or preparing for elite competition, we’ve got a spot in the right program to help them grow, compete, and have fun!

FUNdamentals (Ages 5–9)

For our elementary-aged athletes, this program develops basic movement skills—running, jumping, throwing, catching—and builds physical literacy in a fun, engaging environment.

  • Monday & Wednesday | 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Learn To Train (Ages 9–12)

Focused on middle school athletes, this stage builds a broad skill base and introduces sport-specific techniques and game sense, all while keeping it fun and challenging.

  • Tuesday & Thursday | 05:00 PM to 06:00 PM
  • Saturday | 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM

Build The Engine (Ages 12–16)

Designed for late middle school and early high school athletes, this phase emphasizes aerobic capacity, strength, speed, and efficiency—essential building blocks for long-term performance.

  • Monday Thursday | 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM and 03:00 PM to 04:15 PM
  • Friday | 03:00 PM to 04:15 PM
  • Saturday | 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM

High Performance (Ages 15–18+ & Professional Athletes)

Our most advanced group, built for high school, college, and professional athletes. Athletes in this program already have a strong foundation and are training to compete at the highest levels.

  • Monday Friday | 07:30 AM to 08:45 AM and 09:00 AM to 10:15 AM

Private and Semi-Private Training

Looking for a more exclusive, private experience, or not quite ready for our small group training? Personal Training with one of our Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists may be just what you need. Each session is fully tailored to your history, goals, abilities, and schedule.

Access to Resort Facilities

Guests of the resort are encouraged to take advantage of our renowned sports-training facilities and can make reservations for individual and group programs. Similarly, those in the Sports Performance Program have access to our resort amenities, including all dining outlets, our pools and more.
